Heart of Midlothian Jekyll and Hyde Hearts
Hearts are such a Jekyll and Hyde team. Last week’s stuttering away performance was followed by a relatively comfortable win against one of the best of the rest teams in the country. Craig Levein’s record against Aberdeen is extraordinary. The Dons hit the post early and late, but Hearts played really good football to lead 2-0 at the break and held it comfortably, as well as threatening to add on several occasions.
David Milinkovic again showed why he is becoming a mini cult hero and would be welcomed as a long-term signing. Why he remained on the bench last week remains a mystery. We await the split fixtures hoping for Hibs and Rangers at Tynecastle, where we remain unbeaten this season.
