Trump hotel tops

-

Trump Turnberry has been named as Scottish Hotel of the Year amid acclamations from the judges that appear to endorse the US president’s greatest boasts about his Ayrshire golf resort. Scot “The Donald” is revitalising the Scottish economy and bringing in much-needed investment after a wasted decade of stagnation under the calamitous SNP.

Damian Thirsty Good for you Donald. I’m really enjoying watching you succeed in all aspects, but particularly in your battle with the Snowflakes

A Fine Disregard Best to avoid confrontation so let’s tax politics and religion.

Miniso This is ridiculous... every voter will need to show some form of ID to be issued with a ballot paper... not just those from ethnic minority groups. If a ‘white, Britishborn person’ was in the same situation of having neither a passport nor a driving licence – they do exist – would that be classed as a form of racism? Of course not.

Robert Bell The solution is ID cards, but this wasn’t implemented under Labour because it was, guess what, “racist”.

Mick Smith How can this be racist in any shape or form? If you want to vote you need to provide proof of identity irrespective of what your background is. You need ID to collect a parcel from Royal Mail or get a library card or concessionary bus pass so why not to vote?

Aristotle So sad to read this news but the only tiny crumb of comfort is that they can take Liam home to bury him properly. Another gone too soon. Life is so cruel at times. Thoughts are with the family at this sad time.

Gillian Craig Very sad, I really was hopeful he would be found. Thoughts with his family xx. Why should he? That’s what medics are there for. At the end of the day these guys are in a race and the whole point is winning that medal.

Lynne Bruce I watched Hawkins being interviewed & didn’t realise that his marathon attempt would have finished as soon as anyone touched him.

Jannette Mcewen In the interview after he did say that if someone had tried to help him he would’ve told them to leave him alone!
