The Conservatives have comfortably seen off Labour challenges in
flagship London councils.
Preaching garbage socialist policies to the already likeminded but economically deficient Labour voters was always giving Corbyn a false sense of momentum.

Despite Windrush which is being hammered by the Labour Party the Tories still made a very good showing down south. Voters are not daft, Marxism and Socialism don’t offer a decent future. Especially if you’ve witnessed it first-hand.

The norm is to expect the government to get hammered at these elections, especially a government which has been in power for so long. The fact the Conservatives didn’t says much. The support for the Conservatives seems to be holding whether it is due to their performance or lack of trust in Corbyn’s Labour I wouldn’t like to say.

As education, decency and common sense kicks in, the chances of the Labour Party ever returning to power become slimmer. Only those not of sound mind would countenance giving power to that trash ever again.
