Grange going for a treble in Euro play-offs
League and cup winners Grange embark on their quest for a treble as they look to clinch top spot in this weekend’s European play-offs.
David Knipe’s charges are already guaranteed European competition next season after taking the league title, but winning tomorrow’s final would almost certainlybookaplaceinthe prestigious Euroleague.
But first Grange need to see off fourth-placed Western Wildcats in today’s semi-final at Fettes. Should the champions survive that encounter they will face either Bromac Kelburne or Grove Menzieshill.
In the women’s playoffs, champions Edinburgh University are also in search of a treble and face Watsonians in today’s semi-final. The other semi brings together traditional rivals Milne Craig Clydesdale Western and Grove.
In the men’s relegation play-offs, Watsonians, runners-up in the second division, take on Dundee Wanderers on Tayside while in the women’s, Inverleith and Grange are up against GHK and Hillhead respectively.
