Family make TV appeal to find body
The family of a woman murdered eight years ago are appearing on the BBC’S Crimewatch to appeal for information to help find her body.
Suzanne Pilley, 38, disappeared on 4 May, 2010, after setting off to work in Thistle Street in Edinburgh city centre.
Colleague David Gilroy, now 55, was convicted of her murder in March 2012 and is serving a life sentence with a minimum term of 18 years behind bars.
He is thought to have taken her body in the boot of his car to a secret grave, believed to be in remote Argyll. Her remains have never been found.
Ms Pilley’s family were due to appear on BBC Crimewatch at 11am today appealing for information to help them find her body. Earlier this year her mother and sister spoke of the torment of not being able to give Ms Pilley the dignity of a funeral.
