Cleared for take-off: Soft­ware firm wins deal to sup­ply flight sim­u­la­tor spe­cial­ist

Soft­ware firm Ideagen, which has its Scot­tish of­fice in East Kil­bride and more than 300 avi­a­tion clients glob­ally, has landed a con­tract with a flight sim­u­la­tor de­vel­op­ment and pi­lot train­ing spe­cial­ist. Ideagen’s Q-pulse of­fer­ing will be used to mod­ernise qual­ity and safety man­age­ment across Avion Group, whose cus­tomers in­cluded Air­bus and Boe­ing. The lat­ter’s group safety and com­pli­ance man­ager Marco Bran­des said: “Q-pulse will en­able us to fu­ture-proof the busi­ness and reach our goals of work­ing more closely with com­mer­cial air­lines and their pi­lots.”
