Butcher appointed Philippines boss

Terry Butcher has been confirmed as the new manager of the Philippines national side.

The 59-year-old former Motherwell, Inverness and Hibs boss replaces ex-bayer Leverkusen and USA defender Thomas Dooley at the helm ahead of the Suzuki Cup later this year.
