… or a disgrace?

The pre-planned walk-out of the SNP MPS during Prime Minister’s Questions was a disgrace, bringing shame on Scotland. Their grievance is utterly bogus, it was contrived entirely for dramatic effect.

Through the Brexit process 134 out of 158 new powers are being transferred directly from Brussels to Scotland. Just 24 are being temporarily retained by Westminster because they involve the integrity of the vital UK single marthat

ket between Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

By demonstrating over this the SNP is deliberately and self-indulgently ignoring the interests of the other three countries of the UK.

Furthermore, they are turning a blind eye to the fact that if, as they wish, Scotland stays in or rejoins the EU not a single one of these powers would ever come back to Holyrood.

Scotland deserves and expects mature representation in Westminster
