Theresa May was challenged at Prime Minister’s Questions on President Donald Trump’s visit to the United Kingdom amid the family separations policy. The PM was pressed on the issue by a host of MPS including the SNP’S Ian Blackford. @Argyleloz wrote: “Ian Blackford was rightly attacking Theresa May on her silence over Mr Trump’s caging of children.” @Creativeblock_ tweeted: “So Jeremy Corbyn failed again at PMQS, leaving it to SNP Westminster leader Ian Blackford to ask the Trump question.” @Mrjohnnicholson posted: “PM sticks her neck out and says she disagrees with caging children. Will she still be welcoming Trump? Yes, she says. But she’ll talk to him about it. He must be trembling.”

#WORLDREFUGEEDAY

Yesterday was World Refugee Day, honouring the strength and perseverance of the millions of people displaced around the world. @Chrisjzullo said: “We are one species. The more we turn out backs on each other’s well being, the more fragmented we shall become. We must unite under a common banner of humanity or we are doomed to suffer the fate of a technologically advanced society, destruction from within.” @Kennethroth wrote: “On #Worldrefugeeday, the numbers tell the story: the world’s wealthiest countries are turning their backs on some of the world’s neediest people – those fleeing persecution and war.” @Azheidip posted: “Today is #Worldrefugeeday. A year ago I wouldn’t have thought that much of it, but today I consider my refugee friends family. My heart and my life have been changed by being involved in the local refugee community.”

#RONALDO

With a European record 85th international goal, Cristiano Ronaldo may have just ended up being the greatest footballer of all time debate. @Eamonscott agreed, writing: “Game by game, goal by goal, Ronaldo is ending the ‘goat’ debate.” @Guymowbray simply stated: “He is just a phenomenon.” @Priyafast12 wrote: “Ronaldo proved again that he is carrying the whole team on his shoulder. He is the greatest of all time.”
