Boxing clever?

There is much concern about the effects of plastic on our environment, especially on the oceans. But what about other forms of packaging?

Buying paper tissues, for example, calls for good arithmetic, with retailers giving the impression of price bargains until one reads quantity contained in the package can vary from 50 to 84 or 100 or whatever, yet paying a few pence extra for more tissues would save both expense on box packaging and be the more economical.
