What does this have to do with Scotland, Holyrood or Sturgeon?

Cambayne So the hater of the word “British” and hater of the Union flag lectures us about tolerance? She doesn’t deserve to walk the red carpet, and she’s in no position to judge who does. The majority of Scots would rather see her walking the plank.

Lemonpiper GB It’s funny, I didn’t see Nicola taking a stand over Tibet or the countless other human rights abuses that the Chinese government is responsible for during her wee winter holiday. Or is that not as easy as playing to the cheap seats with Trumpbashing? Donald Trump will comfortably outlast Nicola Sturgeon and it is debatable if anyone in Scotland cares what she thinks any longer, let alone the rest of the world.

Hoditanddodit The Leader of the Free World snubbed by the leader of Poundworld, that’s the way to do business, Nicola. The poor better get used to going hungry in Scotland.

Di Antwood “The world has a collective responsibility to deal with those seeking refuge and asylum.” Indeed, but what about those millions of economic opportunists who exploit this in search of an easy life and free money?

Euan Gray What will the First Minister do/say if and when President Trump next visits Scotland? She’ll be a fawning sycophant, desperate to meet him, take selfies with him, and show that she’s a “world leader” right up there with the best of them. Unfortunately, the numbers game says we’ll have to wait till 2021 to have any chance of getting rid of her.

Lavrenti Zapadni When Sturgeon acquires the status of a respected politician with the gravitas to match, then it would be suitable for her to advise The Queen as head of state, and the Prime Minister as the head of Government, on how to organise the events attached to the invitation the UK gave to the President of the United States. Until such time she could attend to her own SNP affairs.

Old Clothes and Porridge Let’s consider the Brexit fiasco in the same way this clown claims that power is being retained in Edinburgh and the government knows best. Is it not his Tory party refusing to allow even parliament to have a say or vote on the most important decision the UK could ever make?

Cluaran In one ear and out the other, the SNP’S core voter base won’t take the blindest bit of notice while the SNP bribes are flowing, excessive benefits, baby boxes and free prescriptions etc.

Peter Mcgrouther The problem is that the SNP wish to control and legislate every facet of our lives while not being accountable when they get it wrong.

Another Voice Just as the nationalists see independence as the answer to Scottish success, so Brexit is our access card to British success. We have won our British freedom! Scottish independence, whilst not a bad thing, isn’t going to happen because the party selling us the independence dream is a socialist/communist radical liberation movement. So it will be a British Scotland with a British Britain moving forward as one.
