Body recovered in search for Ben Nevis climber
A mountain rescue team searching for a missing climber on Ben Nevis has recovered a body.
Marcin Bialas had been missing since 21 January after falling through a cornice near the summit of the UK’S highest peak.
Two other members of his climbing party were rescued on the day of the accident.
A statement from Police Scotland said a body was recovered from snow in Observatory Gully on Saturday.
“Formal identification is still to take place, but the family of Marcin Bialas have been informed,”
