Pensioner killed in motorbike collision

A 65-year-old woman has died after two motorbikes collided on a North-east road.

The A93 was closed between Braemar and the Spittal of Glenshee ski centre following the crash.

The incident around 12:50 involved a white Triumph bike and a grey BMW bike. The woman is thought to have been a passenger on the BMW.

Aninvestigationhasbeen launched and police have appealed for witnesses.
