Brains trust
The male brain is 10 per cent bigger than the female but all men’s organs are proportionally bigger and scientists can find no other difference. For all the talk about men being from Mars and women from Venus, the brain is a unisex organ and nurture, rather than nature, drives the differences in male and female behaviour.
Neuroscientists have yet to find a single circuit wired differently in either male or female brains. In fact debunking the religious ideology, folk-myths and out-of-date research based on poor-quality statistics which suggest female brains are in some way different is crucial if we are to properly address current power structures.
