Engineering group looks to excel with new brand and business structure
0 Derek Smith: ‘We are on track to achieve results’ Engineering services firm Edwin James Group has rebranded and restructured to support growth, the business announced yesterday.
The company, which has headquarters in Glasgow and Burton, has streamlined multiple brands into two separate service offerings following a series of acquisitions. Establishedbyinvestmentfirmaliter Capital in 2017, the group, then known as Edwin James Holdings, initially acquired Ingen Technical Services and Korrie. This was swiftly followed by the acquisition of WT Parker Group and PEME in the same year.
Now the group has streamlined these businesses to create Parker Technical Services, which will provide engineering, facility maintenance, energy and environment services, and Musk Process Services, which will encompass the design and maintenance of technical assets and systems.
Chief executive officer Derek Smith said: “Over the last three years, Edwin James Group brought together a selection of businesses which offer complementary technical and facilities services throughout the UK.
“We are on track to achieve £140m turnover in our first full financial results, and we look forward to continuing our impressive growth.
“Our new simplified structure will encourage collaboration across the business and allow us to explore how we can leverage cross-selling opportunities across our customer base to increase our market share.”
Edwin James Group operates nationwide and employees almost 1,000 employees in offices across the UK, with roughly 300 of those positions based in their Scottish branches in Inverness, Thurso, Elgin, Fort William and Glasgow.
The group launched their new website and brand identity yesterday.
