‘Elderly’ biker dies after crash with van on A82

A motorcyclist described as “elderly” by police died in a crash on the A82 south of Tarbet yesterday.

The man died when his orange Honda collided with a van as they both travelled north at around 11:45am.

Sergeant Kevin Craig said: “Whilst we have spoken to a number of people stopped to assist at the scene, we would still like to hear from anyone driving on the A82 near to Tarbet just prior to the crash.”
