This normally plays as a par 5 for the members and will be a strong par 4 as it is into the prevailing wind. Anyone wanting to play safe has an option up the right. There are various hollows around the green, which slopes off all over the place when the pin is up at the back.

Also from No 2, I think this is a clever golf hole due to the fact it has a dogleg that goes left but a fairway sloped to the right. The green here slopes towards you and has pot bunkers around it that definitely need to be avoided. Long can leave a tricky shot, too, as it’s quite fast back down the green.

This is a strong short hole and the information from caddies will be vital here due to it being slightly uphill to the green, making it hard to pinpoint exactly where the hole is cut. The green is normally pretty receptive as it’s sheltered, meaning the wind doesn’t dry it out as much as others. Going off the back is the bad miss here.
