Firefighters cut man free from car after crash

A man was cut free from his car after an accident near Kirkcaldy Ice Rink, police have revealed.

Emergency services were called to the scene in Rosslyn Street at around 1:30pm yesterday following a report of a two vehicle collision.

Police Scotland, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and the Scottish Ambulance Service all attended. Fire and Rescue crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to free the injured man from his vehicle, while a woman also involved in the crash was also helped to safety by firefighters.
