Scots look for improvement
Scotland’s Women cricketers were bowled out for just 47 in their only ICC World T20 global qualifiers warm-up game in the Netherlands this week, but skipper Kathryn Bryce believes beingabletobouncebackis one of this side’s strengths.
The Scots are one of eight sides who will be battling it out over the coming days for two spots at the main event in the West Indies in November later this year.
Today they take on Uganda in their first group match in Amstelveen but, on Thursday, they lost to Bangladesh in a practice clash by ten wickets in Rotterdam.
All-rounder Bryce, 20, and her players are not too downhearted, though, and she feels they can get off to a good start in the competition proper. “T20 cricket can change in a second and matches can go one way then the other,” she said.
