Mallan aims high at Hibs
Hibernian’s new signing Stevie Mallan says he is determined to make up for lost time following a disappointing time at Barnsley, writes Alan Temple.
Hibs paid around £150,000 for the 22-year-old midfielder, who penned a four-year deal.
Mallan made just nine appearances for Barnsley last season following his move from St Mirren.
“I was only used in a small number of games down there and I feel like I need to get that time back,” he said. “I was left out a lot of the time and I have some making up to do.
“I need to show a lot of people what I am capable of in midfield and I can’t think of a better club or a better platform than Hibs in the Scottish Premiership.”
