Picnic At Hanging Rock
This lavish reimagining of Joan Lindsay’s classic 1967 Australian novel sees Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer play Hester Appleyard, the enigmatic headmistress of Appleyard College. The six-part drama follows what happens when three girls in her care and their governess go missing in the Australian Bush after a Valentine’s Day picnic in 1900 and shows the far reaching impact on the students and staff at the college. As theories start to circulate about the circumstances of their disappearance, paranoia sets in and long-held secrets surface. Also starring Samara Weaving, Madeleine Madden and Lily Sullivan.

Keeping Faith
Billed as a new series, this is in fact a belated terrestial screening of the superb eight-part Welsh thriller which has already had several million views on iplayer. Written by Kavanagh QC’S Matthew Hall, it was filmed back-to-back in both Welsh and English and has been a wordof-mouth hit since it first aired last year. Eve Myles (Torchwood and Broadchurch) plays Faith Howells, a lawyer, wife and mother who is drawn into a mystery when her husband and business partner Evan (Bradley Freegard) disappears. He leaves for work but never arrives. His sudden absence strikes deep into the heart of his tiny Welsh community and forces Faith to come back from extended maternity leave to defend a hopeless vagrant on a shoplifting charge. As an increasingly desperate Faith searches for clues, she uncovers new revelations about Evan’s private life and questions how well she really knows the man she loves.

SPORT The Tour de France Live 2018
ITV4 will have daily live coverage of the iconic cycling race, which begins today on the Île de Noirmoutier, an island off the Atlantic coast in the Vendée, before ending in Paris on 29 July after the riders have pedalled their way around 3,351km of France.
Four-time winner Chris Froome goes into the event as a controversial favourite after winning the Giro, while fellow Brits Geraint Thomas and Adam Yates are expected to be near the front of the peloton. Sprint specialist Mark Cavendish will also be looking to add to his stage-win tally.

SPORT Strokes Of Genius: Federer V Nadal
A documentary revisiting the 2008 Wimbledon final between Roger Federer and Rafa Nadal, which is regarded by many as the greatest match ever. At that time Nadal was 22 and the winner of four titles at Roland-garros, while Federer, 26, was bidding for his sixth Wimbledon title in a row. The titanic struggle went to five sets and with rain delays, the last points were played in fast fading light at 9.15pm. The two protagonists, who amazingly are still at the top of the game a decade later, reflect on the epic match.
