Killers and Chvrches rock final day of TRNSMT festival

Usbandthek­illersrock­ed the last day of the TRNSMT music festival in Glasgow.

They reported being “excited” to headline yesterday after sets from hometown acts Franz Ferdinand and Chrvches.

Music lovers basked in 23C temperatur­es as the heatwave continued for the last day of the five-day event.

Rising Scottish star Lewis Capaldi gave the crowd a taste of things to come when he covered The Killers’ hit All These Things That I’ve Done.

TRNSMT is in its second year after taking over from T in the Park as Scotland’s main summer pop festival.

Festival organiser Geoff Ellis, of DF Concerts, said audience figures this year could near 250,000.
