Glen Nevis body had been there ‘for some time’

Police and mountain rescue have recovered a body from Glen Nevis in the Highlands, believed to have been there for “a considerable time”.

The alert was raised at about 2pm on Saturday and the body recovered by police with the help of a Mountain Rescue Team.

Chief Inspector Alastair Garrow said: “We will be considering all options in terms of longer term missing people who have sadly not been found yet.”
