PAKISTAN WIN TRI-SERIES FINAL
Pakistan achieved their highest ever successful run chase in Twenty20s to beat Australia in the tri-series final in Zimbabwe. Having lost the toss and seen Australia post 183 for eight, with D’arcy Short (76) and Aaron Finch (47) compiling a 95-run opening partnership, Pakistan reached their target with four balls to spare and claimed a six-wicket success. Despite losing two wickets in the first over, opener Fakhar Zaman blasted 91 off 46 balls in the winning cause. Zaman and Shoaib Malik (43no) put on 107 in a fourth-wicket partnership as Pakistan went on to make 187 for four.
