Poll position

-

A new poll has shown that the SNP would win back seats that they lost at the snap General Election last year, but their support has dropped slightly in Scottish Parliament voting intentions.

Things will only get worse for the Tories and Labour as Brexit progresses to its inevitable conclusion.

Why is this article not telling us how many seats that equates to? From my reckoning that would be an increase of 14 new SNP MPS, which is 83 per cent of all available seats in Scotland.

Loving how the same Britnat extremists who were screaming in delight at the results of the poll yesterday are now trying desperately to dismiss these results. Lol. Anyway, I care nothing for the specifics of polls. It’s the trends that are important... and all the trends over the last months show an increase in SNP support, combined with a decline in Tory support.

Given that the polls consistently overstate SNP support by between 5 and 10 points I would think the FM should be deeply worried by this latest poll.

The polls said the same thing last year and the SNP ended up with 37% of the vote and were only saved losing more seats thanks to the Greens being bullied out of taking part in the election by the SNP.
