The Baptism of the Infant Son of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took place at 4.00 p.m. this afternoon in the Chapel Royal, St. James’s Palace. The Archbishop of Canterbury, assisted by the Right Reverend and Rt. Hon. the Lord Chartres (Dean of Her Majesty’s Chapels Royal) and the Reverend Canon Paul Wright (Sub-dean of Her Majesty’s Chapels Royal) baptised the Infant Prince, who received the names Louis Arthur Charles. The Godparents were: Mr. Harry Aubrey-fletcher, Mrs. Robert Carter, the Lady Laura Meade, Miss Lucy Middleton, Mr. Guy Pelly and Mr. Nicholas van Cutsem.

The Duke of York, Chancellor, this morning presented the Chancellor’s Prizes at the University of Hudders-

field, Queensgate, Huddersfie­ld, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lordlieute­nant of West Yorkshire (Dame Ingrid Roscoe).

His Royal Highness, Chancellor, later attended a Graduation Ceremony at the University of Huddersfie­ld.
