Flying high: Co-op sets date for opening of £6m warehouse at Inverness Airport
The Co-op’s new £6 million distribution centre at Inverness Airport Business Park will officially launch on 9 August, it has been confirmed. The development, which will be home to 50 staff, will service the Co-op’s large network of stores in the region and will also facilitate future store expansion across the Highlands and beyond. Andy Perry, logistics director for the Co-op, said: “We’re thrilled to be able to launch our new site at Dalcross – it’s a modern and future-proofed facility which is perfectly placed to support the Co-op’s ever-growing operations in Scotland.”
