Edinburgh’s Lux Assure seals sales agent appointment for Saudi Arabia
0 Emma Perfect: Aiming to grow business in Middle East Lux Assure, the chemical monitoring and management specialist, has appointed Saudi Arabia-based First Style Establishment for Trading to represent the Edinburghheadquartered company in the Kingdom.
First Style, which is focused on the oil and gas, electricity, and petrochemical sectors, will act as a sales agent for Lux Assure’s corrosion management products.
Headquartered at Heriot Watt Research Park, Lux Assure has built up a network of worldwide agents. In 2015, the firm received a £2.4 million investment from Chevron Technology Ventures, Conocophillips Company, Statoil Technology Invest, Archangel Investors and the Scottish Investment Bank.

The Scots firm’s corrosion management products are said to represent a “revolution in monitoring and managing difficult-to-detect chemicals in hydrocarbons, condensates and water”, specifically the hydrate inhibitors and corrosion inhibitors used to protect oilfield assets, on and offshore.
