Newton Property Management restructur­e leads to promotion

● The restructur­e of Newton Property Management has seen current director, Ross Watt, who is based in the Aberdeen office, move into the position of managing director Newton North Scotland. With offices in Glasgow, Aberdeen andinverne­ss,newtoncurr­entlyhas45 members of staff and manages 20,500 factored and 600 leased units across the whole of Scotland with its national coverage span as far north as Tain and as far south as Gretna Green. Watt joined Newton in 2016 when his business, Watt and Co Property Management, merged with Newton in a six-figure deal, which saw him become a shareholdi­ng director and board member of the overall Scottish property company.

● Scottish communicat­ions agency Clark Communicat­ions has appointed Kirsten Paul as account director in its Edinburgh office. With more than a decade of experience in public relations, she will help to manage several of the firm’s corporate clients and will also help to attract new business to the agency. Kirsteen Lamont most recently responsibl­e for overseeing several of the agency’s B2B clients across technology, energy, telecoms and financial services. ● Commercial property firm JLL has recruited Kirsteen Lamont as senior surveyor within its awardwinni­ng office agency team in Glasgow. She arrives from consultanc­y Lambert Smith Hampton, where she joined as a graduate surveyor in 2014. Having obtained her undergradu­ate degree from the University of Aberdeen, Lamont is RICS accredited and has been working in Glasgow’s commercial property market for the past four years. She will be working within JLL’S office agency team, which has scooped team of the year at the last three Scottish Property Awards including 2018.
