Newton Property Management restructure leads to promotion
● The restructure of Newton Property Management has seen current director, Ross Watt, who is based in the Aberdeen office, move into the position of managing director Newton North Scotland. With offices in Glasgow, Aberdeen andinverness,newtoncurrentlyhas45 members of staff and manages 20,500 factored and 600 leased units across the whole of Scotland with its national coverage span as far north as Tain and as far south as Gretna Green. Watt joined Newton in 2016 when his business, Watt and Co Property Management, merged with Newton in a six-figure deal, which saw him become a shareholding director and board member of the overall Scottish property company.
● Scottish communications agency Clark Communications has appointed Kirsten Paul as account director in its Edinburgh office. Kirsteen Lamont most recently responsible for overseeing several of the agency’s B2B clients across technology, energy, telecoms and financial services. ● Commercial property firm JLL has recruited Kirsteen Lamont as senior surveyor within its awardwinning office agency team in Glasgow. She arrives from consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton, where she joined as a graduate surveyor in 2014. Having obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Aberdeen, Lamont is RICS accredited and has been working in Glasgow’s commercial property market for the past four years. She will be working within JLL’S office agency team, which has scooped team of the year at the last three Scottish Property Awards including 2018.
