Help the helpless

More than 52,000 baby boxes have now been introduced to all newborn babies in Scotland whether the parents want them or not, at a cost to the taxpayer of £8 million.

Would the money not have been better spent supporting the growing number of homeless in Scotland, or going directly to the endless queues at the foodbanks to ensure that help is only given to those who are in desperate need?
