Jobs site opens doors to Glasgow’s new recruits

A UK employment website has opened the doors of its regional office in Glasgow as it eyes Scottish growth.

Cv-library holds a candidate database of about 123 million CVS, 860,000 of which are from jobseekers based in Scotland.

It currently has four staff members at the Savoy Tower branch and expects the team to grow “quickly” as it supports employers with recruitmen­t north of the Border.

The site, created in 2000, now boasts more than 185,000 jobs from in excess of 10,000 clients.

Founder and managing director Lee Biggins said: “The opening of our new office is another exciting step towards our expansion plans, presenting a huge opportunit­y for us.

“The fact that we now have an office in Glasgow means we’re able to strengthen our presence in Scotland and build better relationsh­ips with our existing and potential clients that are based there.”

Cv-library is headquarte­red in Fleet, Hampshire, and currently has offices in London, Birmingham and Manchester.
