Spurs seek venue solution

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino hopes his club can find a solution to the headache surrounding their Premier League game with Manchester City.

With work overrunning on their new stadium and Wembley already booked up on the scheduled date of 28 October with an NFL game, Spurs cur- rently have nowhere to play that game against the champions.

A rearrangement to play the game at the national stadium looks the most likely outcome, but that has yet to be agreed.

Pochettino said: “I cannot say the new stadium will not be ready. If it is not we need to find a way to play the game at Wembley.

“A third home venue would not be easy.”
