Man in hospital after ‘vicious’ murder attempt
A man was left seriously injured following a “vicious and brutal” attempted murder in Glasgow.
The 59-year-old victim was walking in the city around 7.20pm on Saturday when he was attacked with what is believed to be a blade.
He was taken to Glasgow’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment, and his condition is described as stable.
Detective Sergeant Nick Gribben said: “This was a vicious and brutal attack which has left the victim with significant injuries and extensive enquiries.”
