Leadership skills for Guides at first CEO camp
Sixty girls and more than 20 inspiring female leaders took part in Girlguiding Scotland’s first ever Camp CEO.
During the residential in the Scottish Borders, the girls received mentoring from women from across Scotland’s private, public, STEM, media and third sectors.
The girls developed skills in public speaking, leadership and goal-setting.
Camp CEO was created in response to research by Girlguiding which found that only 54 per cent of girls age 11-16 say they have the same chance of succeeding in their careers as boys.
