The plastic bag charge is set to rise to 10p and be extended to every shop, according to reports. Theresa May is expected to announce the changes as part of plans to tackle plastic pollution.

Excellent news, and I hope the Scottish Government follow the UK’S lead on this. All the people moaning about it just need to be more organised and remember to take their own reusable bag. plastic waste in the oceans come from just 10 African and Asian rivers, plastic pollution is not caused by the western consumers.
