Palace defender Inniss joins Dundee on loan

-

Dundee signed three players on transfer deadline day, including centre-back Ryan Inniss who has joined on loan from Crystal Palace until the end of the season.

The former England youth international has had something of a chequered past, including a conviction for assault. The 6ft 5in defender made his Palace debut on Tuesday night in the Carabao Cup against Swansea after several loan spells with other English clubs.

Joining him at Dens Park is Republic of Ireland international Andy Boyle, who has signed on loan from Preston North End until January. Boyle is also a centre back.

As expected, Celtic left-back Calvin Miller has also signed, agreeing a loan deal with Dundee for the remainder of the campaign. The 20-year-old defender has made four firstteam appearances for the Parkhead club.

Miller, who can also play in midfield, has been included in Mccann’s squad to face Motherwell today along with fellow new signing Kenny Miller.

Dundee are the only Premiership team without a point after three games.

They have suffered singlegoal defeats against St Mirren, Aberdeen and St Johnstone. They were also eliminated from the Betfred Cup last month, suffering 3-0 home loss to Championship side Ayr United in the last 16.
