Robinson sees big future for goalscorer Johnson

Danny still has a lot to learn but we will help him and when you can score those goals you always have a chance.” Meanwhile, Dundee manager Neil Mccann is refusing to panic despite his side’s alarming start to the season.

The Dark Blues are the only team in the Premiershi­p without a win having suffered four straight defeats to leave them propping up the rest of the table. But Mccann maintains they have the ability within the dressing room to turn things round.

He said: “Maybe there is a wee lack of confidence just now due to results but I believe we’ve got enough in there to get us up and running.

“It’s hard to take when you’re not getting results. I’m sure once the new players who’ve come to the club settle in things will be different.”
