Du Preez stable after emergency surgery

Cornell du Preez is in a stable condition in hospital after the Scotland cap suffered a serious injury at the weekend.

Worcester Warriors confirmed the South Africanborn player would require a further operation on a fractured larynx, the 27-year-old understood to have undergone emergency surgery after the incident which took place during Worcester’s 21-20 loss to Wasps at Sixways.
