Shepherd signs off on series of Tayside deals

Shepherd Chartered Surveyors said yesterday that it had sold a number of investment properties across Perthshire and Tayside over the summer.

Tayforth House – a twostorey office building that stands at the gateway to Dundee Technology Park – has been sold to a private investor for £1.4 million.

The property is let to investment management group Aberdeen Standard Investment­s until 2024, with the accommodat­ion sub-let to BNP Paribas.

In Perth city centre, Santé wine bar and restaurant has been sold to a private investor for £405,000. Meanwhile, in Broughty Ferry, a corner terraced convenienc­estorehasb­een sold for £370,000, representi­ng a net yield of 6.25 per cent.

Jonathan Reid, partner at Shepherd Chartered Surveyors, said: “These investment property sales throughout Perthshire and Tayside concluded over the summer, spanning office, restaurant and retail, provide ample evidence of the buoyant level of activity within the local commercial property sector.”
