Charged up: Dixons Carphone remains on track for £300m profit
Dixons Carphone, which is still reeling from a massive customerdatabreach,hassaid full-year profits are set to be in line with expectations at £300 million as it posted first-quarter results. The Currys and PC World owner saw group and UK revenues dip 2 per cent but the World Cup supported TV sales, which made up for a weaker performance in white goods and computing. John Moore at Brewin Dolphin Scotland said: “Profit before tax guidance remains at around £300m, which will be a relief to many analysts.”
