Miller and Wallace thank union
Lee Wallace and Kenny Miller have welcomed the decision to uphold their appeal against sanctions imposed by Rangers following an alleged dressing room bust-up with former manager Graeme Murty.
The Scottish Professional Football League said the pair’s appeals against financial penalties had been successful.
Wallace was fined four weeks’ wages and Miller was punished with a twoweek fine following the alleged incident after the 4-0 Scottish Cup semi-final loss to Celtic in April.
Margaret Gribbon, solicitor for the players’ union PFA Scotland, who represented the duo at their SPFL hearing, released a brief statement on behalf of both players. She said: “My clients welcome the League’s decision and are grateful to PFA Scotland for their support.”
