Cruise terminal
New purpose-built terminal is proposed to accommodate a growing number of cruise calls at Dundee, which can accommodate vessels up to 240 metres long in its port.
Located in a natural harbour more than 800 years old a short walk from the city centre, the port which handles more than 250,000 tonnes of agricultural products each year – has recently been promoted as a cruise destination for the 21st century.
It is hoped the planned new facilities will help establish Dundee as “the gateway to the east of Scotland.”
