The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by the Lord Vestey (Master of the Horse) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Lieutenant Colonel Sir Seymour Gilbart-denham (Extra Equerry to The Queen and formerly Crown Equerry) which was held in the Guards Chapel, Wellington Barracks, London SW1, this afternoon. The Prince of Wales was represented by the Lord Patrick Beresford. The Duke of York was represented by Captain Robert Guy. The Princess Royal was represented by Colonel Toby Browne. The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were represented by Major General
Sir Simon Cooper. Princess Alexandra, the Hon. Lady Ogilvy was represented by Major Charles Macfarlane.
KENSINGTON PALACE
The Duke of Cambridge this morning presented certificates at the inaugural Skillforce Prince William Award Graduation Ceremony, University of Birmingham, Edgbaston, Birmingham, and was received by Dr. Beverly Lindsay (Vice Lord-lieutenant of West Midlands).
His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Acorns Children’s Hospice, 103 Oak Tree Lane, Selly Oak, Birmingham, to mark its Thirtieth Anniversary.
The Duke of Cambridge later unveiled a statue of Frank Foley in Mary Stevens Park, Stourbridge, West Midlands.
