Man died working on cherry picker
A man who died following a collision near Stirling between a cherry-picker and a bus has been named by police.
The crash happened on Balkerach Street in Doune about 10:25am on Thursday.
Michael Mcarthur, 26, who was in the cherry-picker bucket, suffered serious injuries and died at the scene.
He was from Rothesay on the Isle of Bute, Police Scotland said.
Inspector Andrew Thomson said: “Our thoughts and sympathies are with Mr Mcarthur’s family.”
