Labour’s message of hope and change
Scottish Labour will today take its plans to rebuild Scotland to communities across the country.
The campaign day will focus on highlighting the party’s policies including plans to rebuild workers’ rights, with a £10 an hour living wage, increased protections and longer paid maternity and paternity leave.
Also highlighted will be plans for a £20 billion Scottish Investment Bank, a commitment to spend more public money with Scottish small businesses, an increase in apprenticeships and increasing child benefit.
Campaign spokesperson Neil Findlay said Theresa May’s “shambolic” handling of Brexit meant a snap election was closer than ever.
He said activists would deliver a message of “hope and real change”.
