Indonesia aid

-

The Scottish Government will provide £240,000 to help those affected by the earthquake and tsunami in Indonesia. The cash will be given to aid agencies to provide food, clean drinking water, sanitation, shelter and healthcare, as well as helping survivors cope with the trauma.

Terrible events over there, but “International Development Minister Ben Macpherson” ? When was International Development / Aid devolved?

Auld Reekie

Yes these poor people need help and yes we have a responsibility as a wealthy nation to help them. But we should be providing significant British aid and not a token quarter of a million (which won’t buy much) in order to assuage the consciences of the snowflakes in the SNP.
