Blogger and podcaster Lauren Mahon
What’s the last piece of clothing you bought?
It was a dusky pink cord co-ordinated set from H&M that I’m now obsessed with.
What are you addicted to buying?
Other than plants, I own far too many pairs of jeans and lots of black footwear.
Best ever bargain?
I found a beautiful thick wool blazer in a Salvation Army store in Texas for just 50 cents.
Who has great style?
The Olsen Twins –
androgyny for the win.
Name your favourite high street shop.
Either & Other Stories or H&M. I’m quite minimal and boyish in my style and I can usually find “wear now love forever” pieces in these stores that nod to a trend but remain timeless.
Any fashion disasters you’d care to tell us about?
In my twenties, I was a big fan of pedal-pushers and oversized knits. I’d wear them with chunky wooden heels, layered necklaces and
lots of lipgloss.
What’s your favourite item in your wardrobe?
My GIRL vs CANCER tit-tees of course! n
