Barnier door?

Michel Barnier was told to get ready for the UK to change its mind on Brexit through a fresh referendum in a meeting with pro-eu opposition politicians. The group of senior SNP, Liberal Democrat, Plaid Cymru and Green figures told the EU chief negotiator there was no consensus on how the UK should leave the 28-nation bloc.

The behaviour of these guys is close to treasonous. Trying to undermine critical negotiations while they are still ongoing. A few hundred years ago, they would have been hung, drawn and quartered.

The people have already voted. There will be no People’s Vote. A deal will be done and Parliament will approve the deal.

If the intention of this lot is to push us to a hard Brexit then they’re doing a great job. Did somebody not think about telling the EU that negotiations are confused, did they not think of the repercussions?

This beggars belief, the nation voted for Brexit in a national referendum but a group of seditious politicians choose to ignore the will of the people, sabotage negotiations and subvert the government in its duty to deliver what the majority want. A similar disconnect occurs in Scotland where political extremists have forgotten their mandate is to serve the will of the people, not to arrogantly interpret what they “think” the electorate want.

They wasted their time, it is not within the gift of minor opposition MPS to demand anything. 95% of negotiations for Brexit were completed to the satisfaction of the UK Parliament and the EU just a matter of four days ago and as such Brexit happens. Barnier is a decent chap and listened to the whinging from a frankly laughable bunch of fools
