Pup power: Mad Eye safe and sound after being rescued by Scottish SPCA officers

Mad Eye, a seal rescued by the Scottish SPCA, poses for the the camera at the charity’s national wildlife in Fishcross, Clackmanna­nshire. The fourweek-old is among the first grey seal pups to be rescued by the charity this season. He was found on Dunnet Beach in Thurso with an injured eye, which will have to be removed.

The Scottish SPCA expects to care for over 100 grey seal pups during the autumn and winter.
