Scottish Friendly closes takeover

Glasgow-based mutual Scottish Friendly has taken over bundled group pension business from Mobius Life, a provider of institutional services to corporate pension schemes in the UK.

The proposed deal had been announced in June. Scottish Friendly boss Jim Galbraith hailed the move as a “tangible outcome of our strategy to diversify and grow the business”.
